Gavin Wood is a free-trust technologist and founder of Polkadot. He is also the president and founder of Web3 Foundation, founder and CTO of Parity Technologies and a co-founder of Ethereum. As CTO of the Ethereum Foundation, he coded the first functional implementation of the platform, released as “POC-1,” and authored the “Yellow Paper,” the first formal specification of any blockchain protocol.
