The Climatize co-founder on filling the missing gaps in project financing and the shifting politics of green energy.

Will Wiseman: I’ll explain how we found the product-market fit at Climatize. Myself and my cofounder started working together six years ago during our first master’s degree in Barcelona. We joined the global climate strikes in 2019 — in Barcelona, there were 100,000 people protesting in the streets, one of hundreds of cities in which 7.5 million people showed up for those strikes. We were struck by the sad realization that everybody was going to go home, and the next day, nothing was going to be different. If you got 100,000 people together and their best option was to make a cardboard sign, that was a glaring problem.
